How Many Diets Have You Been On (And Off)?

For many people losing a few pounds is not so hard, but keeping it off for the long haul, well, that is the difficult part. How is it that we seem to go on and off diets and keep losing and regaining the same 10 pounds?

If you are someone on this diet ‘treadmill’ you may be suffering from any or all of the following:

• Body weight increasing

• Spending more than enough time obsessing about food or your weight

• Frustration about your inability to control your weight

Well, one things for sure, another diet is not what you need. What you do need is to take a look at the ‘inner’ you. You need to go down to the root and the CORE of who you are. To be experiencing these negative weight/food issues you need to accept there is something ‘out of whack’ in your mind programming.

Your subconscious mind is where all of your thoughts, feelings, emotions and self-beliefs originate from and this is where we need to dig down to so we can find them and fix the ones that are not serving you well. In fact, some of them are working against you and we need to get them back working for you. If you don’t take a little time to do this they will ALWAYS be in your way causing you to fail time and time again in your attempts to lose weight.

Your mind does rule your body, even though you may not be aware of it. When your mind is working against what you want to happen (losing weight) it causes inner resistance. You may have already experienced it when you start a new diet or exercise program really keen and motivated and shortly afterwards you revert to your old ways. Any weight lost is quickly put back on usually with some extra as well.

That is your inner mind programming overriding your new ideas. For them to stick we need to give ourselves a mind software ‘upgrade’ so that the inner bit is a match for what we want to happen on the ‘outer’ of our body, so we are not fighting ourselves at every turn. When you get out of your own way it is so easy and effortless you won’t believe it.

Gone is the struggle and fight. It just melts away along with the excess body fat as your mind is now taking on the same thoughts and self-beliefs that a person living in a slim, fit, feel-good body already has. This is what you need to propel you to your goals and when you have it, it will happen for you.

Ending this yo-yo cycle of weight loss/gain and your food/weight struggles is like a breath of fresh air as it is so hard to live your life like this long-term. But you know this already and I know you would love to be done with this never ending battle – forever.
